According to Reuters, a London court will hear an extradition requested by the US government for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
The Westminster Magistrate Court will hear the request in the morning on May 2nd. The US Justice Department charged Assange for conspiring with former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning.
Their arrangement allowed WikiLeaks to released hundreds of thousands of military reports about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and American diplomatic communications.
Assange was recently arrested in London for violating bail conditions while seeking political asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy.
