Michael Flynn’s Lawyers Say He Isn’t Ready To Be Sentenced

Lawyers for former U.S. national security adviser Michael Flynn said he’s not ready to be sentenced.

According to Reuters, the lawyers said the federal government is stalling efforts to defend him.

Flynn is set to be sentenced for lying about his discussion with a Russian ambassador.

Lawyers for the government said Flynn is ready for sentencing and it could happen as soon as Oct. 21.

Both sides agree that Flynn’s cooperation with various government probes is finished.
