More Legal Troubles for Cohen, Trump After Subpoena in Foundation Probe

The State of New York subpoenaed President Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen on Wednesday. According to Reuters, it’s in connection with a probe of the Trump Foundation charity. The state’s attorney general filed a lawsuit against Trump, three of his children and his foundation in June. AG Barbara Underwood says Trump had used the nonprofit organization illegally. Specifically, as a personal “checkbook” for his own benefit, including his 2016 campaign.
