The Senate intelligence committee has subpoenaed President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen to testify before the panel in mid-February, according to Reuters.
The subpoena comes a day after Cohen said he planned to postpone an appearance next week before Congress, saying Trump and lawyer Giuliani had threatened his family.
News of the committee’s actions have been reported by MSNBC and CNN on Thursday.
Michael Cohen, U.S. President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, was sentenced at the Manhattan borough of New York City on December 12, 2018 for bank fraud as well as violating campaign finance laws.
